P.D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga , Belagavi had organized six days NSS Special Camp from 18.06.2019 to 24.06.2019 at Bastawad village, Belagavi. The motto for the camp was “Youth for Clean India”. NSS Special Camp was inaugurated on 18.06.2019 at 10.30am. Chief Guests for the function were Ms.Arati T.G, Secretary, Bastawad Gram Panchayat and Mr.Arjun Patil, Gram Panchayat Memebr, Bastawad. The guest of honour was Dr. Prof. Sangeeta A. Moreshwar, Principal, P.D. Bharatesh College of Nursing , Belagavi.
Durring the camp the following activities were carried out.
- General screening for heart diseases and Diabetes Detection Camp.
- Health checkup camp for preschool children.
- Eye check up camp.
- ENT Camp.
- Dental Checkup Camp.
- Health Education on Menstrual Hygiene.
