Health education programme was held on 5th December 2019 at 11.30am by P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga,Belagavi at Bastawad Village. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing has organized Health education programme with an objective of creating awareness regarding perimenopause among women residing in Bastawad. Mrs. Shweta D A, P.D.O. of Bastawad Panchayat and Ms. Arati Gurannavar, Secretary, of Bastawad Panchayat were the guests. The programme began with welcoming the Guest by Mrs. Arpana Sanadi, Asst. Professor, P.D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi. The students enumerated about the meaning, signs and symptoms and management of perimenopause both in kannada and Marathi language.
After the health talk the forum was open for discussion to clear their doubts. Around 25 women were the beneficiaries of the programme. All IVth year students were actively participated in the programme.
The Programme adjourned by giving vote of thanks by Ms. Mona Mane, Nursing Tutor at 12.30pm.
