The Fresher’s DayCelebration of 7th Batch of M.Sc, 16th Batch of B.Sc and 1st Batch of GNM Nursing was organized by P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga,Belagavion 16th December 2019 at 10:30 am. The programme began with welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Sangeeta A Moreshwar, Principal, PDBCN, Halaga, Belagavi. The chief guest Dr. Shilpa Kodkany’s, Consultant Ophthalmologist, Kodkany’s Eye Centre, Belagavi, elaborated the need and importance of Nursing personnel in the society, spoke about importance of nursing profession, history, recent trends and values of nursing in her speech. The Guest of Honor Dr. Savitri R. Doddanavar, Consultant Gynecologist, Deccan Medical Centre and GC Member PDBCN, Halaga, Belagavi particularized the need and importance of skill full nurses for the betterment of health care system. Shri. Vinod S. Doddanavar, GC Chairman, P.D. Bharatesh College of Nursing Halaga, Belagavi congratulated the Fresher’s on Behalf of the Management committee and mentioned the facilities and quality of education in the institute in the Presidential Remark. Management and Governing Council Members, External faculties were witnessed the programme. The programme continued with cultural events by the students.
