The Department of Community Health Nursing is involved training of under-graduate and post-graduate nursing students in the field of Community Health Nursing. Students are trained in the areas of family assessment and community assessment to identify health problems of people living in the community. Students are further trained to make referrals for people identified to have problems and to give health education with emphasis on primary prevention.
The department observes all the National Health days by conducting Screening services, organizing camps based on the needs of the Community and also performs various forms of health education programmes.
WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY-2025
P.D Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi Department of Community Health Nursing along with NSS Unit celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2025. On this occasion Rally, Health Awareness Programme and trees plantation was done at Bharatesh Vindhyagiri Campus, Halaga, Belagavi under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Sangeeta A. Moreshwar, Principal, P.D Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi.
