The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Parshwanath Doddanavar Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi organized a seven-day Special NSS Camp at K K Kopp Village, Belagavi, from 7th February 2026 to 14th February 2026 with the objective of promotion of community health, social responsibility, and awareness among rural populations while instilling the spirit of service among NSS volunteers.
The inauguration of the NSS Special Camp was held on 7th February 2026 at K K Kopp Village in the presence of dignitaries and local community members.

The dignitaries addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of community service, health awareness, and the role of youth in nation-building.
Throughout the camp duration, NSS volunteers will actively participate in various health-oriented and social welfare activities, which include:
- School Health Check-up
- Swachhata Abhiyan (Cleanliness Drive)
- General Health Check-up for villagers
- Geriatric Health Check-up
- Screening for Anaemia
- Screening for Cancer among individuals of reproductive age
