The Fresher’s Day Celebration of 10th Batch of M. Sc (N) 19th Batch of B.Sc (N) and 4th Batch of GNM Nursing and Farewell for outgoing batches of B.Sc. M.Sc and GNM organized by P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi on 23rd November 2022 at 10:30 am. The programme began with invocation song, followed by welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Sangeeta A Moreshwar, Principal, PDBCN, Halaga, Belagavi. The Chief Guest Mr. Vijay More Ex-Mayor and Social worker Belagavi, briefed about the learning & acquiring the basic nursing skills to practice nursing effectively and also highlighted the existing scope of nursing, its future prospects. Sir encouraged to inculcate adequate knowledge & skills to provide best possible nursing services to the needy.
The Presiding officer Dr. Savitri R. Doddanavar, Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist, Deccan Medical Centre and GC Chairperson, PDBCN, Halaga, Belagavi congratulated the Fresher’s on behalf of the Management Committee and informed about the facilities and quality of education provided by this institute. Dr. Savitri R. Doddanavar conveyed best regards to outgoing batch students and highlighted the importance of nurse’s role in the hospital in terms of following ethical guidelines in day to day practice.
The program was adjourned with vote of thanks by Prof. Mahesh M Rebinal, Vice-Principal, PDBCN, Halaga, Belagavi.
