International Nurses Day Celebrations 2025
International Nurses Day was observed on 12th May 2025 at P D Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi.
The program begun with invocation music followed by the welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Sangeeta A Moreshwar, Principal, P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi and also unfolded the theme for the International Nurses Day-2025 and emphasized that the Nurses are having boundless compassion and unwavering dedication, as indispensable in addressing patients’ complex needs. Chief Guest Dr. Pratibha Tejannavar, Consultant Obstetrician, Tejannavar Hospital, Belagavi, highlighted the crucial role Nurses play within the healthcare system, advocating for a profound change and appreciation of their own profession. Also, madam motivated the students to have high visionary goals in their professional life by stressing that Nursing is a unique and noble profession that focus on service oriented goal towards serving the mankind. The programme was presided over by Dr. Savitri R. Doddanavar, G C Chairperson, P.D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi, by adding presidential remark and enumerating about the significance of retaining skilled Nursing Professionals to ensure continuity and uncompromised quality of care in her inspirational speech.The program was adjourned with vote of thanks by Prof. Mahesh Rebinal, Vice-Principal, P.D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi at 12.30pm.
Fresher’s Day 2025
FRESHER’S DAY CELEBRATION AND FAREWELL PARTY-2025
The Fresher’s Day Celebration of 12th Batch of M. Sc (N), 21st Batch of B.Sc and 6th Batch of GNM Nursing Students and Farewell for outgoing batches of B.Sc. M.Sc and GNM organized by P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi on 30th November 2024 at 10:30 am. The programme began with invocation song, followed by welcome speech by Prof. Mahesh Rebinal, Vice-Principal, PDBCN, Halaga, Belagavi. Ceremonial lamp was lighted by all the faculties on the Dias. Welcoming of Fresher individual students was carried out by offering a token of love and followed by student’s introduction. Distribution of the token of love for outgoing students was carried out. Followed by hand overing of prizes to winners of College day (color day, retro day, traditional day and denim day) celebration was held. Prof. Dr. Sangeeta A Moreshwar, Principal, P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi welcomed the students and added a brief note on Nursing Profession and career opportunities available worldwide for the students after completion of Nursing.
International Yoga Day 2023
Celebration of International Yoga Day at P.D Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi on 21st June 2023. The Chief Guest for the programme was Mr.Vijaykumar I. Kadam, Yoga Instructor, Belagavi.
INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF SIMULATION/SKILL LAB
The Inauguration of Simulation/Skill Lab was held on 8th June 2023 at 3.30 pm in P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi. The program began with invocation song by the students and welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Sangeeta A Moreshwar, Principal, P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi. The Chief Guest, Basavaraj R. Patil, Surgical Oncologist, Chairman, R.B. Patil Hospital, Hubli & Chairman, Karnataka Cancer Therapy & Research Institute, Navanagar, Hubli appreciated the managing committee efforts and support towards nursing profession and also highlighted about the quality of nursing education and scope of nursing services worldwide. Sir appreciated the campus and facilities provided by the management. The Guest of Honor, Dr. Ramesh P. Doddanavar, Managing Director & Consultant Physician, Deccan Medical Center Belagavi elaborated the role and commitments of nurses in hospital and society & also endorsed for the complete utilization of the skill lab to gain hands on skills for providing quality care for the patients. Shri. Vinod S Doddanavar, Secretary, Bharatesh Education Trust, Belagavi advised and motivated the students to make use of the simulation lab at the maximum. In the Presidential remark, Dr. Savitri R Doddanavar, Consultant, Obstetric & Gynecologist & G.C Chairperson, P. D. Bharatesh College of Nursing, Halaga, Belagavi emphasized on simulation-based education not only benefits budding nurses but sharpen their skills without jeopardizing patient safety and patient autonomy. Shri. Bhushan Mirji, Treasurer, Bharatesh education trust, Belagavi stressed on importance of working with commitment & dedication along with acquired skills for the improvement of the society.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Mr. Mahesh M Rebinal, Vice Principal from PDBCN, Halaga, Belagavi. The program was adjourned with national anthem.
